New Delhi: Amit Shah said the Delhi blast is a serious terror act and he promised strict punishment and he said no guilty person will be spared and the punishment will become an example and he added that the world must know India will not tolerate such attacks and he said the case will move fast and security agencies have full freedom and strict action is guaranteed.
The investigation is revealing many new angles and agencies are checking every detail and officers say the network behind the blast is bigger than expected and new information is coming each hour and police teams are working across states and the blast has raised security alerts and more raids are likely soon.
Sources say the blast may have a Mewat connection and police reached Basai Mew village in Nuh to investigate and the area is known for illegal mining and ammonium nitrate is often used there and officers believe the explosive might have come from this route and police are checking local suppliers and they are studying movement in nearby villages.
Ammonium nitrate is used for both mining and explosives and illegal mining makes access easier and villagers say such material moves secretly and the police suspect the same supply chain may be used for the blast and officers are now scanning storehouses and transport routes and this angle is now a key part of the investigation and agencies want to block this flow.
Congress leader Supriya Shrinate targeted the Centre and said the government accepted it was a terror attack after 50 hours and she asked why Pakistan was not named and she said terror groups linked to Pakistan were mentioned but government avoided commenting and she questioned earlier statements calling terror attacks “acts of war” and she said the government is not following its own words.
Opposition says no major terror attack happens without cross-border support and they demand clarity and security experts also believe foreign links must be checked and the government says every angle is under investigation and agencies are verifying digital records and suspicious movement and intelligence teams are working with central agencies and nothing is being ignored.
Police will continue raids in multiple states and they will track suppliers of explosives and the government will push for fast prosecution and investigators will review CCTV and call records and more suspects may be arrested soon and the final report may take time and the Home Ministry wants a strong example to prevent future attacks.
